Hi fellow diggers!
Myself and Tina (42 Little Sammons) have just got our paperwork through making us the proud keepers of plot 5. We were hoping to get in there this last weekend alas I was struck down with hay fever and we didn’t get the chance. Can I just say a massive thank you to whoever strimmed a big chunk of the plot for us! We will be there to clear the plot and make ready for the winter planting soon and we really appreciate the help! thanks And we look forward to seeing you all over a fork or wheelbarrow soon x
Hi @Nick Evans, hope you didn’t mind but I just popped round to finish off the strimming on the plots, so at least you can get a head start on getting some things in the ground without having to worry about the grass so much! You’ve got plenty of berry bushes on your plot which I’ve given a wide berth.
Also, I’ve just found out my COVID mask now has a dual purpose in allowing me to strim without my hayfever kicking off! Bonus!
Looking forward to seeing you around there soon.
No problem at all, @Nick Evans! Dave was kind enough to pass the strimmer over some of your plot as he was doing work there already.
Hayfever has been a menace recently, so I know what you mean - you'd have probably been a broken man after strimming down all that grass with the high pollen count over the last couple of weeks!
Look forward to seeing you on the plot soon.
